For each Paddy Drying Plant, a “Fissure-Proof” M.S. Double-Chamber Dried-Paddy Cooling-Tempering plant, as scientifically devised by SKD ,is not only highly recommended, rather it is a must. The said CTP is arranged with suitable forced air circulation system to ensure the necessary slow cooling of the hot paddy grains as discharged from the dryer, as also the simultaneous effective tempering thereof (in order to prevent any cracking/fissuring of the rice kernels).
The additional advantages derivable from & because of the CTP are --
the cooling of the paddy in the Dryer becoming unnecessary, the related wastage of the Dryer operating time & the power consumption associated therewith will be obviated;
the dried-paddy being automatically & continuously fed into the milling process, the smooth operation of the milling plant is more ensured ; and
the facility of storage of the dried-paddy (to the extent of two batches) during the shut down of the milling plant.
